I love Elwood

This coastal landscape photography print came from a day I still remember clearly – fresh breeze, plenty of sun, and the smell of the ocean carrying up the hill. Sometimes it takes a day like that to remember what a lovely planet we actually live on. I climbed a small rise overlooking Elwood Beach to get this angle, looking out over the sand, the breakwater, and the wide stretch of blue beyond it.

It’s not the Grand Canyon or Mt. Everest – just green grass, blue water, and open sky. But that’s kind of the point. Those are Earth’s true colors, and it’s easy to forget how good we’ve got it here.
