I love Elwood

Sometimes I forget what a lovely planet we live on. It takes a day like this – a fresh breeze, lots of sunshine, the smell of the huge ocean – to remind me how lucky we are. I remember this day. It was so nice just to be outside. Look at the colors in this coastal landscape photography print: this is planet Earth, and we live here. The view isn’t the Grand Canyon or Mt. Everest, but it reminds me of the true colors of Earth – green and blue.
To get this shot, I climbed a small hill overlooking Elwood Beach. This piece would be right at home in an office or living room, giving you a little hit of that wide-open, outdoor feeling whenever you look at it. Honestly, if I had this hanging in my office, I don’t think I’d get any work done – I’d just sit there staring at the horizon, imagining I was the captain of a pirate ship.
