Take The Day Off

I used to have a job. On days like this one — flat blue water, a few sailboats just far enough out to look like they’re minding their own business — I’d be stuck inside a building with no windows worth looking through. One time I actually said something to my boss. Told him it was a perfect day, the whole staff should just take it off, go enjoy it before it’s gone. He looked at me like I’d suggested we burn the building down. Shortly after that, I found myself suddenly working as a full-time artist. Stupid boss, he is one of those guys who have their priorities all mess up.
