For several years I would often visit this pier in Safety Harbor, Florida. It wasn’t famous or spectacular, but it was one of those places where I enjoyed spending time with my camera.
The story behind this Safety Harbor pier photo
The pier has since been demolished, but every time I look at this photograph I realize that places don’t completely disappear. Buildings may come and go, yet the moments we experience there continue to live in our memories.
It’s funny — people who come here in the future will have no idea this ever existed.
