I once sailed from Hawaii to California on a yacht. It was an adventure! The Pacific Ocean is very big and very different from day to day. It feels so uncaring. Some days it seemed to be my friend and other days it seemed like it was trying to kill me. I don’t think it actually thought about me very much, but I learned that I had to pay attention if I wanted to stay alive. In the end, it was a beautiful experience.
